M/E MAIN BEARING POCKETS LINE BORING.

Engine type : MAN B&W 7L 58/64 Ø 460 mm.
- In- situ line boring of 9 main bearing pockets.
- Laser alignment measurements of main bearing pockets.
- Set up and alignment of boring bar with the use of state-of-te-art laser equipment.
- Laser alignment measurements of main bearing pockets after machining completion.
STERN TUBE BORING
- In- situ boring of stern tube cast 3 steps aft (Ø565 x Ø563 x Ø561 x 970L mm).
- In- situ boring of stern tube cast 2 steps fore (Ø565 x Ø563 x 385L mm).
- Calibration check of stern tube fore and aft bearing seats.
IN SITU DRILLING OF REAMER BOLTS
- In- situ drilling of M/E side reamer bolts (standard Ø 90 mm), with the aid of special HSS drills,
- In situ drilling of propeller side reamer bolts (standard Ø 80 mm) with the aid of special HSS drills
- In- situ boring of 22 reamer bolts holes of both M/E and Propeller side.
- Conduction of honing for 0.01 mm accuracy.
- Micrometric measurement of holes’ diameter after machining and honing.
- Fabrication of oversize reamer bolts for both M/E side and propeller side in our workshop facilities.
- Lathe machining of intermediate shaft (Ø 550 mm, L 9200 mm).
REAMER BOLTS' HOLES BORING
- In situ reaming of intermediate shaft- crankshaft 12 reamer bolts’ holes ( Ø64 mm.)
- In situ reaming of intermediate shaft- propeller shaft 10 reamer bolts’ holes ( Ø65 mm.)
- Conduction of honing for 0.01 mm accuracy.
- Micrometric measurement of holes after machining and honing.
RUDDER STOCK HOUSING
- In situ machining of rudderstock housing (Ø 750 x 1000L mm).
ORBITAL MILLING OF CRANE BEARING FIXED POST
- In situ facing of thrust bearing contact face (Ø 3000 mm) of a 60 TN crane.
V & I BRACKET BORING AND SURFACE MACHINING

New building project
- In situ boring of V- bracket (3- steps) Ø 622 x Ø 624 x Ø 626 x 2m length.
- Flange facing of V- bracket.
- In situ boring of I- bracket (2- steps) Ø 600 x Ø 602 x 1m length.
- Flange facing of I- bracket.
- In situ boring of stern tube cast (2- steps) Ø 596 x Ø 594x 1m length.

- Fitting of the bushes with shrink-fit nitrogen method.
